Aniol Serrasolses

Aniol Serrasolses , extreme white water kayaker from Catalonia living in Patagonia, Chile

Why do you love kayak paddling and how and why did you start to paddle?

My name is Aniol Serrasolses. I’m 30 years old and I am from Catalonia. I love kayaking because of how it makes me feel. When I am in the river, nothing else in the world matters. I love it because of the wild and unique places it’s taken me, the great people I’ve met along the way… I started kayaking when I was 13 years old because of my older brother Gerd. We found the sport by accident and fell in love with it right away.

Tell us about the coolest places you have paddled and your top achievements.

The Karakorum mountain range in Pakistan and the Apaporis in the Amazon are some of the most incredible places I’ve seen.

What are your favorite Sweet Protection products and why?

Too many goods to just name one… But from the whitewater line my fav is the rocker helmet and the elbow pads.

I’ve hit my head hard a couple times over the years and I’m so thankful that I was always wearing the rocker. Nothing out there compares to it.

The biking line is amazing as well and so is the skiing gear. Truly the highest quality and stylish gear in the game !!!
