He is considered one of the most innovative skiers in the industry, as his wide-ranging approach has led him to X Games competitions, more than 20 film appearances, and traveling the world to explore other cultures through skiing. We are of course talking about Pep Fujas.
He is the winner of several Powder Magazine video awards, including Best Powder in 2010. His first big film segment launched in 2003: “Session 1242" - Poor Boyz Productions. In 2004, Pep won Breakthrough Performer and Best Trick at the Powder Video Awards and let’s not forget about the silver he earned in X-Games Slopestyle back in 2003.
Those familiar with his video segments might recall him rarely wearing a helmet, but Pep states that his reasons for not wearing a helmet were negated when being introduced to Sweet Protection, and he decided to give their helmets a try anyway.
We are very pleased that Pep Fujas have chosen to join Sweet Protection and we see a big international potential in having a US based ski legend on our team. Working with an expert such as Pep is key in order to develop the best products in the market and show the world what our products can do.
