Unique detachable magnetic Aerocovers™ - Snap on the covers for aerodynamic performance and protection against the elements, or pop them off during hot days and big climbs for maximum airflow and optimum comfort.
Mips® Air Safety System
Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions and brain injury in angled impacts to the head. The Mips® Air system is designed to provide movement inside the helmet to help reduce rotational motion to the head in certain angled impacts, thereby lowering the risk of such injuries. It’s suitable for helmets with minimum head contact surface and maximum ventilation.
360 Occigrip Fit System
The 360 Occigrip Fit System allows for easy, on-the-fly adjustments to the height and width of the helmet
STACC Ventilation
STACC (Superficial Temporal Arteries Cooling Channel) ventilation system efficiently pulls air to the head in critical areas for complete body temperature regulation and increased overall comfort.

Since 2011, Virginia Tech researchers have been providing unbiased helmet ratings that allow consumers to make informed decisions when purchasing helmets. The helmet ratings are the culmination of over 15 years of research on head impacts in sports and identify which helmets best reduce concussion risk.
