Fit
Regular fit
Choosing the right size:
As helmet size affects the aerodynamic properties of the rider, we have developed a modular system of comfort pads called fitpads. The interior Mips lining is thin with a soft surface, allowing users to wear the helmet without any fitpads or strategically placing them for a comfortable and snug fit. This can help users that are in-between sizes to choose the one that is correct for them, and still have a comfortable and secure fit. The exterior width leading up to the shoulders of the S/M helmet is 271 mm, while the L/XL is 285 mm. Meaning a smaller, narrow-shouldered rider between sizes might want to choose the S/M and wear it without fitpads, while a bigger rider might benefit by sizing up and using the included fitpads.
Key Features
2Vi® Helmet Technology Platform
Featuring our 2Vi® technology platform for increased performance and comfort with Mips for protection against rotational forces. 2Vi® helmet technology platform includes a next generation variable elasticity shell technology, a pre-preg carbon internal shock-absorbing rib structure and the Mips low-friction layer.
Laminar Flow Bypass Duct
Air enters through the intake duct on the helmet’s stagnation point and is accelerated through a closed laminar flow duct. Air exits at the trailing edge of the helmet with a higher speed than the air on the outside, and flows around the shoulder area to reduce the overall drag.
Flush-fitting Visor
Close fitting and flush visor with to bypass ducts to improve aerodynamics and prevent fogging. Integrated magnets for easy-to-use and secure visor fitment.
The Redeemer 2Vi® Mips Helmet comes with two visors:
Smoke: VLT 15%, S3
Clear: VLT 90%, S0
Low and Wide
The helmet is designed with variable elasticity shells which enables a low stack height to minimise the frontal area. The geometry of the trailing edge widens towards the shoulders for a smooth transitions to the back of the rider for improved aerodynamic performance.
Adjustable Fit Pads
When you purchase a Redeemer 2Vi® Mips Helmet, the package comes with optional fit pads to be placed according to the riders preference for optimal aerodynamic position.
3 front pads in three different thicknesses
4 fit pads 8mm
4 fit pads10mm
Fidlock System
Fidlock allows for intuitive and secure fastening with only one hand. Integrated magnets help locking parts to snap into position, eliminating the need to re-adjust in stressful situations.
Extensive Wind Tunnel Testing
Extensive wind tunnel testing on eight iterations of prototypes. 100 hours of CFD analysis. Developed with aerodynamic expertise from Formula 1. Outperforms class leading competitors when worn by Søren Wærenskjold (U23 World Champion).
Redeemer 2Vi® Mips Helmet
Redeemer 2Vi ® Mips Helmet wins Design & Innovation Award 2024
“With the Redeemer 2Vi® Mips helmet, Sweet Protection show what a successful innovation transfer from motorsport to cycling looks like – and how well it works! The intake duct and closed laminar flow bypass conduit on the forehead force air through two internal channels, accelerating it through the helmet towards the rear openings. While at 481g, the Redeemer 2Vi® Mips helmet isn’t the lightest time trial helmet out there, it’s incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great fit without slipping or building up pressure on the head, even when pedalling hard. Moreover, changing the visor using the three magnetic fasteners is easy and straightforward, and the system also ensures a smooth transition between the main shell and visor, contributing to the helmet’s aerodynamic qualities. The vent holes above the visor prevent your visor from fogging up. On the road, the Redeemer 2Vi® Mips time trial helmet inspires huge amounts of confidence. Our jury was impressed with the overall performance of the Redeemer, which combines excellent aerodynamics, superior comfort and safety in one helmet!”
A Nemesis of Time
Engineered with Formula 1 aerodynamic expertise, and developed in collaboration with the Uno-X Pro Cycling Team, the Redeemer 2Vi® Mips might possibly be the fastest helmet on the planet.
