Birk Ruud

Meet Birk, the Norwegian freeski powerhouse known for mixing heavy-hitting tricks with a laid-back, stylish approach. Growing up just outside Oslo, he spent his childhood lapping local hills and parks, quickly turning raw talent into world‑class performance on the biggest stages in skiing.

Birk has become one of the most dominant names in modern freeskiing, pushing progression in both Big Air and Slopestyle. He made history at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing by winning the first-ever Olympic gold medal in Freeski Big Air for Norway, and has followed it up with multiple X Games medals and FIS World Cup wins. Whether it’s a World Cup, X Games, or a session with friends, he’s known for going huge, staying technical, and still making everything look effortless.

While he’s a fierce competitor, Birk is all about the joy of skiing. He loves filming, exploring new features, and constantly challenging what’s possible on snow—always with a big smile and a creative line in mind.
