Introduction
This purchase is regulated by the Standard Sales Conditions for Consumer Purchases of Goods over the Internet, given below. By "consumer purchases" is meant sales of goods to consumers who are not primarily acting for commercial purposes, where the seller is acting for commercial purposes by selling goods via the Internet. The contract was developed by the Norwegian Consumer Authority (formerly the Consumer Ombudsman), which also recommends its use.
Consumer purchases via the Internet are regulated primarily by the Contract Act, the Consumer Purchases Act, the Marketing Control Act, the Cancellation Act and the E-Commerce Act, and these laws provide consumers with mandatory rights. The terms of the contract are not to be understood as a limitation of legal rights, but as a presentation of the parties' most important rights and duties in regard to the purchase. The seller may choose to offer the buyer better terms than those stated in these Terms of Sale.
Where the contract does not give a direct solution to an issue, the contract must be supplemented by relevant legal provisions.
Contract
The contract between buyer and seller consists of the information regarding the purchase given by the seller in the ordering section of the online store (including information on the nature of the goods, quantity, quality, other properties, price and conditions of delivery), any direct correspondence between the parties (such as e-mail), and these Terms of Sale.
In the event of conflict between the information given by the seller in the ordering section of the online store, the direct correspondence between the parties and these Terms of Sale, the direct correspondence between the parties and the information given in the ordering section prevail over these Terms of Sale. These Terms of Sale will however prevail if the information given by the seller or the correspondence contains terms that conflict with mandatory legislation.

2. Prices
All prices in the webshop are shown in USD. VAT rates vary from country to country, so the VAT on your order is based on where your order is delivered. You'll always see the correct price, including VAT, at checkout before you pay. Shipping costs are excluded. Prices are subject to change without further notice if VAT rate, taxes and/or other duties change. VAT is automatically deducted on deliveries to Svalbard & Jan Mayen at checkout. You may be charged import duties by your country. Please note that we are not responsible for those charges, nor can we predict if your order will be subject to import duties. Please consult your local customs office for more information.
3. Conclusion of contract
The contract is binding for both parties as soon as the seller has received the buyer's order. However, a party is not bound by the contract if there are typographical or printing errors in the seller's offer in the ordering section of the online store or in the buyer's order, and the other party realized or should have realized that such an error was present.
4. Order confirmation
The buyer will receive an e-mail confirming that the seller has received the order. The seller will send an order confirmation when the goods are ready to be delivered. The buyer should check the order confirmation against the order with regard to quantity, product type, price etc. If there is a discrepancy between the order and the order confirmation, the buyer should contact the seller as soon as possible.
5. Payment
The seller may charge the buyer for the goods at the time they are shipped from the seller to the buyer. If the buyer pays by credit card or debit card, the seller may reserve the amount on the card for up to four days from the time the order is placed.
When paying by credit card, the Credit Sales Act applies. If the seller offers payment by invoice after delivery, the invoice shall be issued when the goods are dispatched. The due date shall be at least 14 days from when the buyer receives the delivery.
If the seller has a particular need to require advance payment from the buyer, as is the case with goods that are manufactured or adapted for the buyer, the seller may require this. Buyers under 18 years of age may only pay directly on delivery or by cash on delivery.
6. Delivery
Delivery of the goods from seller to buyer takes place in the manner, at the place and at the time stated in the ordering section of the online store.
If the delivery time is not stated in the ordering section, the seller shall deliver the goods to the buyer within a reasonable time and no later than 30 days after the order is placed. If the seller is to send the goods to the buyer, the seller must dispatch the goods to the destination in an appropriate manner and under normal conditions for such transport. The destination is the buyer, unless the parties have agreed otherwise.
7. Risk for the goods
The risk for the goods passes to the buyer when the goods are taken over by the buyer in accordance with the contract. If the buyer fails to take over goods that have been placed at their disposal in accordance with the contract, the buyer nonetheless bears the risk of loss or damage due to the properties of the goods themselves.
8. Right of cancellation
The buyer may change their mind and cancel the agreement in accordance with the provisions of the Cancellation Act. The right of cancellation means that the buyer may return goods to the seller without giving a reason, even if they have no defects and even if they have not yet been delivered.
The buyer must inform the seller of the use of the right of cancellation within 14 days after the goods, the required information about the right of cancellation and the cancellation form have been received. If the buyer receives the cancellation form and the required information later than the goods, the cancellation period starts on the day the buyer receives the form and the information. If the buyer has not received sufficient information or a cancellation form, the cancellation period expires three months after the goods are received. If the buyer has not received any information about the right of cancellation, the period is one year.
For evidential reasons, the notice from the buyer to the seller about the use of the right of cancellation should be in writing (cancellation form, e-mail or letter) and should state how the buyer will return the goods to the seller.
When the right of cancellation is used, the goods must be returned to the seller within a reasonable time. The seller must refund the entire purchase price within 14 days of the day the seller receives the goods, receives a notice to collect the goods, or the goods are placed at the seller's disposal. The seller may not charge fees for the buyer's use of the right of cancellation, but may require the buyer to pay the costs of returning the goods.
The buyer may inspect the goods before cancelling the purchase. However, the goods must be returned to the seller in approximately the same condition and quantity as when the buyer received them. The buyer should return the goods in their original packaging, if possible.
The buyer may not cancel purchases of goods that deteriorate quickly, goods that by their nature cannot be returned, sound or video recordings (including CDs and DVDs) or computer software where the seal has been broken. The latter exception only applies if the seller has clearly stated on the seal that the right of cancellation lapses when it is broken.
9. Inspection of the goods
When the buyer receives the goods, the buyer should, to a reasonable extent, check that they correspond with the order, that they have not been damaged in transit and that they have no other defects.
If the goods do not correspond with the order or are defective, the buyer must notify the seller in a claim; see section 10.
10. Complaints about defects and deadline for claims in the event of delay
If the goods are defective, the buyer must inform the seller within a reasonable time that they wish to make a claim. This deadline may never be less than two months from the time the buyer discovered the defect. The claim must, however, be made no later than two years after the buyer took over the goods. If the goods or parts of them are intended to last significantly longer, the deadline is five years.
In the event of delay, a claim must be made to the seller within a reasonable time after the agreed delivery time has passed without the goods being delivered. If the goods were paid for by credit card, the buyer may also send the claim directly to the card issuer. The notice to the seller or card issuer should be in writing (e-mail or letter).
11. Buyer's rights in the event of delay
If the seller does not deliver the goods or delivers them later than agreed, and this is not due to the buyer or circumstances on the buyer's side, the buyer may, according to chapter 5 of the Consumer Purchases Act and depending on the circumstances, withhold payment, demand performance, terminate the contract and claim compensation from the seller.
Performance: If the seller does not deliver the goods at the agreed time, the buyer may uphold the purchase and set a reasonable additional deadline for the seller to perform. The buyer may not demand performance if there is an obstacle the seller cannot overcome, or if performance would cause the seller inconvenience or cost that is significantly disproportionate to the buyer's interest in performance. If these difficulties cease within a reasonable time, the buyer may demand performance.
Termination: The buyer may terminate the contract if the delay is material, or if the seller does not deliver within the additional deadline set by the buyer. The buyer may not terminate the contract before the additional deadline has expired, unless the seller has stated that they will not perform within that deadline.
Compensation: The buyer may also claim compensation for losses caused by the delay; see section 24 of the Consumer Purchases Act. The buyer must report any claim to the seller; see section 10.
12. Buyer's rights in the event of defects
If the goods are defective, and this is not due to the buyer or circumstances on the buyer's side, the buyer may, according to chapter 6 of the Consumer Purchases Act and depending on the circumstances, withhold payment, choose between repair and replacement, demand a price reduction, terminate the contract and claim compensation from the seller.
Repair or replacement: If the goods are defective, the buyer may require the seller to repair the defect or deliver equivalent goods. The seller may object if the requirement is impossible to fulfil or would cause the seller unreasonable costs.
The seller shall carry out the repair or replacement within a reasonable time, without cost to the buyer, without risk that the buyer's expenses are not covered and without significant inconvenience to the buyer. The seller may not attempt repair or replacement more than twice for the same defect, unless there are special reasons that make further attempts reasonable.
Even if the buyer does not demand repair or replacement, the seller may offer repair or replacement if this is done without delay. If the seller carries out such repair or replacement, the buyer may not demand a price reduction or terminate the contract.
Price reduction: If the defect is not repaired or the goods are not replaced, the buyer may demand a proportionate price reduction.
Termination: Instead of a price reduction, the buyer may terminate the contract, unless the defect is insignificant.
Compensation: The buyer may also claim compensation for financial losses caused by the defect; see section 33 of the Consumer Purchases Act.
The buyer must present any claims to the seller; see section 10. The rules on claims apply in addition to and independently of the rules on the right of cancellation and any warranties given by the seller.
13. Seller's rights in the event of breach by the buyer
If the buyer does not pay or otherwise fulfil their obligations under the contract, and this is not due to the seller or circumstances on the seller's side, the seller may, according to chapter 9 of the Consumer Purchases Act and depending on the circumstances, withhold the goods, demand performance of the contract, or terminate the contract and claim compensation from the buyer. Depending on the circumstances, the seller may also charge interest on late payment, a collection fee and a fee for uncollected goods that have not been paid in advance.
Performance: If the buyer does not pay, the seller may uphold the purchase and demand payment. If the goods have not been delivered, the seller loses this right if the seller waits unreasonably long before making the demand.
Termination: In the event of material non-payment or other material breach by the buyer, the seller may terminate the contract. The seller may not terminate the contract after the purchase price has been paid. The seller may also terminate the purchase if the buyer does not pay within a reasonable additional deadline set by the seller, but not before that deadline has expired, unless the buyer has stated that they will not pay.
Compensation: The seller may claim compensation from the buyer for financial losses caused by the buyer's breach; see section 46 of the Consumer Purchases Act.
Interest on late payment and collection fees: If the buyer does not pay the amount specified in the contract, the seller may charge interest in accordance with the Act relating to Interest on Overdue Payments. If payment is not made, the claim may be sent for debt collection after a warning has been issued, and the buyer may be held responsible for fees in accordance with the Debt Collection Act.
Fees for uncollected goods not paid in advance: If the buyer fails to collect unpaid goods, the seller may charge the buyer a fee plus return shipping. The fee may at most cover the seller's actual costs of delivering the goods. Such a fee cannot be charged to buyers under 18 years of age.
14. Warranties
A warranty given by the seller or the manufacturer gives the buyer rights in addition to the mandatory rights the buyer has by law. A warranty therefore does not limit the buyer's right to make claims in the event of delay or defects under sections 11 and 12.
15. Personal data
Unless the buyer consents otherwise, the seller may only collect and store the personal data necessary for the seller to fulfil its obligations under the contract. Personal data of buyers under 15 years of age may not be collected unless the seller has obtained consent from a parent or guardian. The buyer's personal data shall only be shared with others if this is necessary for the seller to fulfil the contract or if required by law. The seller may only collect the buyer's national identity number if there is a genuine need for secure identification and collecting it is necessary.
If the seller wishes to use the buyer's personal data for other purposes, such as sending advertising or information beyond what is necessary to fulfil the contract, the seller must obtain the buyer's consent when the contract is concluded. The seller must inform the buyer of how the personal data will be used and by whom. The buyer's consent must be voluntary and given actively, for example by ticking a box.
It shall be easy for the buyer to contact the seller, for example by telephone or e-mail, with questions about the seller's use of personal data or to ask the seller to delete or change the personal data. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
16. Dispute resolution
The parties shall try to resolve any disputes amicably. The buyer may contact the Norwegian Consumer Council for assistance in disputes with the seller. If the dispute is not resolved after mediation by the Consumer Council, either party may request in writing that the Consumer Council submits the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Commission. Decisions made by the Consumer Disputes Commission become legally binding four weeks after they are issued, unless a party brings the case before the District Court by sending a writ of summons before that time.
17. Campaigns
The terms below apply to all campaigns, unless otherwise stated.
Only one unique campaign per order.
Applies only to selected and specified products/colors.
The offer cannot be combined with discount codes, coupons or other offers.
If you return part of a campaign purchase, the refund will be calculated based on the regular price of the items you keep, so that the discount terms on which the campaign was based no longer apply.
18. Use of AI-generated images
We use both traditionally photographed and AI-generated images in our online store. AI images are primarily used for environment and mood images, such as campaign banners and inspirational content.
To assess the product's actual appearance, such as color, fit and details, we recommend that you rely on the actual product photos and the product description on the product page. If an image is heavily digitally edited or AI-generated in a way that may differ from reality, we label it as an illustration image.
