RIG® is a revolutionary lens technology developed by Sweet Protection to provide superior contrast enhancing vision, minimum color distortion and reduced eye fatigue.
The Boondock Clear Lens has been developed in collaboration with Jesper to provide exceptional clarity when hitting the mountain after dark.
The backstory and inspiration: Back in 2017 Jesper Tjäder successfully topped out, upside down, in the first-ever “loop rail.” This was done at 2,469 m (8,100 ft) above sea level, at Juvass (Galdhøpiggen) the highest mountain in Norway, Scandinavia and Northern Europe.
The insane rail loop was originally planned to be part of Jesper's 'Unrailistic' park, but the feature turned out to be a lot tougher to nail than imagined. It took two years of hard work for it all to finally come together and for Jesper to make ski history.
