Jesper Tjäder, is a Swedish freeskier born in 1994 in Östersund, Sweden.  At the age of four, Jesper started skiing at his home mountain, Åre, and ever since he has been eager to experiment and to push limits within skiing. In 2011 Jesper kicked off his career when becoming a member of the Swedish Slopestyle national team.

His disciplines have always been Freeskiing Slopetyle and Freeskiing Big Air. Among many victories Jesper finished 1st place at the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, 1st in the Swedish Slopestyle Tour and 2nd in the New Zealand Freeski Open.
 

 

Aside from his impressive podium placements Jesper is a true entertainer. He keeps his crowd satisfied by constantly presenting new and advanced tricks. One memorable moment being “The loop” from Supervention 2 which he repeatedly failed, but never gave up. Of course, he nailed it in the end, impressing both the ski community and the commercial audience.
 

Jesper always keeps the pleasure of skiing in focus but has regardlessly become a great talent and a part of the freeski revolution.
