Born from a group of passionate whitewater kayakers who sought to push the limits of gear and performance, we have always strived to collaborate with the world’s best athletes. That’s why we are incredibly proud to work with one of the most dedicated and fearless expedition kayakers out there—Eirik Hansen.



Eirik Hansen is a professional whitewater kayaker who has taken on some of the most demanding and technical rivers in the world. Known for his resilience and precision in expedition paddling, he has pushed his limits on the mighty Indus River in Rondu Canyon—one of the most extreme whitewater stretches on the planet. Through navigating massive rapids, facing high-risk situations, and constantly adapting to unpredictable forces of nature, Eirik embodies the very spirit of innovation, adventure, and determination that defines Sweet Protection.
