Logan Pehota
Meet Logan, the Canadian big mountain freeskier who feels just as at home sending massive lines on his skis as he does throttling a sled through deep backcountry. Growing up a stone’s throw from Whistler, BC – and as the son of legendary big mountain pioneer Eric Pehota – he was immersed in steep terrain and stacked snowpack from day one.
Logan came up through all corners of skiing, from alpine gates to halfpipe and slopestyle, before his eye for big, technical lines drew him into freeride. He broke through on the Freeride World Tour with a win in Haines, Alaska in 2016, and has stacked multiple podiums since, including a standout “home” victory at Kicking Horse in 2018. Alongside his contest career, he’s been a constant presence in films, with segments in major productions like Matchstick Productions’ Superheroes of Stoke and Return to Send’er, where his skiing and snowmobiling skills are both on full display.

Life in the Backcountry
These days, Logan splits his time between filming, chasing storms, and exploring new zones by sled around British Columbia and beyond. Always on the hunt for fresh features, cleaner lines, and bigger airs, he’s constantly pushing his riding in the backcountry. Whether he’s dropping into an exposed face or building a jump deep in the wilderness, Logan brings a calm, calculated style to some of the rowdiest terrain in modern freeskiing – with his skiing and sledding now playing equally big roles in his progression and projects.
