RIG® Lens Technology

Clear vision is critical. Developed in Norway’s harshest conditions. RIG® Lens Technology increases contrast and enhances natural color perception while reducing eye fatigue to keep you focused when it matters most.

Increased Contrast
By boosting important colors in the environment, RIG® lens technology will help your eyes to see contrast in challenging light conditions.

Minimum Color Distortion
RIG® is designed to preserve natural colors, so you see the environment more clearly and naturally, with better depth perception.

Reduced Eye Fatigue
By filtering out UV light and high-energy violet light, RIG® helps reduce eye strain and fatigue, so you can stay focused and keep going for longer.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs):

Boondock II gets a thicker 2.8 mm sculpted cylindrical lens (up from 2.2 mm), a new 3D-sculpted lower edge that reduces snow reflections, easy-change straps and two sizes, M and L, so it fits more faces and helmets.

RIG® (Retina Illumination Grading) is Sweet Protection's lens technology. It increases contrast, keeps colors true for better depth perception and filters UV and violet light to reduce eye fatigue.

Choose M (16.7 × 9.3 cm lens) for narrower to medium faces and S/M-M/L helmets. Choose L (17 × 9.8 cm lens) for medium to wide faces and M/L-XXL helmets.

The Clear AF inner lens gives you triple the anti-fog effectiveness of a standard inner lens, and the triple-layer face foam helps the goggle breathe.

For bright, sunny days, go for a darker lens like RIG® Aquamarine (S3, 12% VLT). For changing or flat light, choose a lens with higher light transmission. Check each product page for VLT and lens category.

There are also Goggles that already include an extra lens, or you can purchase extra lenses suitable for different weather conditions or light transmissions.

Yes. Size M fits S/M-M/L helmets and size L fits M/L-XXL helmets. Wear the strap over the helmet and check that there's no gap between goggle and helmet.
